AUSTRALIAN BOARD OF PHYSIOTHERAPY (AHPRA)
Before you can practice physiotherapy in Australia, you must be registered with the Australian Board of Physiotherapy, through their website. On the website, they have rules and regulations that need to be followed in order to complete the licensing process for Australia. As new grads, this process can be completed 6 weeks before course completion, and is recommended to completed then, to be registered at the earliest possible time. APA Registration
Now that you're registered with the Australian Board of Physiotherapy, you can start looking at your APA membership. An APA membership provides you with discounted insurance and learning opportunities, professional support, and tons of available resources to upskill yourself. As a student, you have probably become a member of the APA for free. Now that you are working, you have to pick the right class of employee you are to choose the right membership option. The APA has a good graduate program set-up for your first few years out of university.
